Gimbals

Our proprietary, patent-pending gimbal systems provide the interface between the zeroG® arm and the payload it holds, allowing the tool or part to achieve any position and angle that operators need. Providing up to four axes of freedom, our gimbals offer the greatest freedom of motion available -- preserving or even enhancing workers' fine motor control.

Equipois offers three families of gimbals designed to accommodate nearly every powered tool or part:

• Saturn™ ring-based gimbals
• Polar™ post-based gimbals
• MAG™ multi-arm gimbals

Each gimbal family utilizes a set of proprietary modular parts to allow attachment to a variety of sizes and shapes.  Equipois has a library of pre-configured solutions to match commonly used industrial tools.   Customized solutions can be provided when required.
